Salary: £100,000 - 120,000 per year

Requirements: We require 7+ years of software engineering experience.We require 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.We require strong hands-on Python development experience.We require experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.We require a proven track record of mentoring and developing engineers.We require strong AWS experience and an understanding of cloud-native architectures.We require experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.We require a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.We require experience working in Agile environments.Exposure to Data Platforms, ETL pipelines, analytics, or data-driven products would be beneficial.We require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities: We lead, mentor, and develop a team of Software Engineers.We remain hands-on with architecture, code reviews, and technical delivery.We run regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions.We drive sprint planning, delivery management, and engineering best practices.We provide technical leadership across Python-based applications and services.We collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Business stakeholders.We support and improve production systems, reliability, and scalability.We champion software quality, testing, automation, and DevOps practices.We help shape the technical roadmap and future architecture.We build and maintain cloud-native solutions within AWS.
