Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: We require strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data modelling.We require hands-on experience with at least one ETL/ELT tool such as Talend, Pentaho DI, Informatica, AWS Glue, or SAS.We require experience with databases or data platforms, ideally Oracle or Cloudera.We require knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS.We require good experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python or Bash.We require a strong grasp of data engineering fundamentals, including integration, transformation, orchestration, and version control.We require excellent client-facing and consultancy skills.We require experience working in Agile delivery environments.We require a drive to share knowledge and to mentor and develop others.We require Active SC Clearance.Desirable experience includes SAS Viya for data analytics.Desirable experience includes job scheduling tools such as Berlin/JS7 Job Scheduler, TWS, or Apache Airflow.Desirable experience includes Denodo for data virtualisation.Desirable experience includes reporting and visualisation tools such as Pentaho BA, Power BI, or SAP Business Objects.Desirable experience includes ALM tools such as Jira and Confluence.Desirable experience includes CI/CD tooling such as GitLab.
