Salary: £37,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modelling.Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.Strong understanding of data wrangling, statistics, and exploratory data analysis.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and data engineering practices.Knowledge of SQL and database querying.Understanding of model deployment techniques and MLOps.Awareness of AI ethics, fairness, and data privacy.A relevant BSc or MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field would be beneficial. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions.Clean, process, and analyse structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful patterns and insights.Collaborate with senior colleagues and stakeholders to understand business challenges and define requirements.Create clear and effective documentation and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences.Contribute to improving data science workflows through participation in code reviews and best practice development.Monitor and maintain model performance, including retraining and validation.
