Salary: £69,000 - 109,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for deep fire engineering expertise combined with commercial acumen and clear, empathetic leadership.We need experience leading multi-site or multidisciplinary fire engineering teams delivering complex portfolios.We value experience steering major design, assessment and compliance programmes in residential or mixed-use environments.We look for a track record of building and scaling commercial service lines, including pricing, bid leadership and contract negotiation.Experience implementing rigorous QA, governance and reporting frameworks in regulated contexts is important.Experience partnering with product and technology teams to embed digital tools and data into workflows would be beneficial.You must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Responsibilities: We will expect you to set the strategic direction, technical standards and commercial performance of our Fire Engineering function.We will rely on you to lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of fire engineers, technicians and support colleagues.You will provide technical direction and final sign-off on complex designs, assessments and safety strategies.You will own key client relationships, shape proposals and presentations, and support major bids.You will oversee portfolio performance, including pipeline, utilisation, profitability and cash collection.You will strengthen governance through quality assurance, regulatory compliance, audits and continuous improvement.You will collaborate with our business units to productise services, enhance technology enablement and scale delivery.You will guide complex technical decisions, coach leaders and project teams, and manage risk, quality and compliance.You will help drive a high-performing, engaged team with strong succession and measurable development progress.You will support disciplined financial management, including accurate forecasting, healthy margins and cash performance.
