Requirements: We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with extensive experience.Proven experience of coordinating and deploying IT solutions.Technical and process design skills, with previous responsibility for the technical direction of projects and contributing to detailed technical designs.Proven ability to embed security in every layer of solution deployment.Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server products; accreditation is preferable.Detailed knowledge of migrating or implementing solutions into cloud infrastructure, including Azure; accreditation is preferable.Detailed knowledge of VMware virtualisation products; accreditation is preferable.Knowledge of RedHat Linux.Knowledge of network infrastructure technologies.Experience using Azure DevOps to manage project deliverables.Experience with database systems, ideally MS SQL Server and Oracle.Proven experience automating processes using PowerShell, Linux shell, or Ansible.Proven track record of resolving IT technical issues.Ability to quickly research and absorb information and communicate it clearly to technicians and management.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain contact with representatives of external companies where necessary.Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation. Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of IT projects and coordinate tasks assigned to technical staff.Personally perform technical tasks to help achieve project goals.Report technical issues to Project Managers and provide solutions to ensure project success.Be involved throughout the project life cycle from design through to implementation.Use and create best practice guidelines, recommend improvements, and ensure resources are used efficiently.Provide strong technical direction by establishing a technical vision, resolving technical disagreements, and managing the technical quality of team deliverables.Account for the delivery of technical implementation and quality assurance for assigned projects.Deliver technology solutions that solve business problems in line with our technical strategy.Ensure we provide scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.Analyse project and business needs and select suitable solutions.Help design and build digital and technical processes to meet project needs.Create and implement risk mitigation processes and ensure information security best practice is embedded at every level.Play a key role in the adoption of automation technologies.Lead upskilling and knowledge transfer for our IT technical teams.Support project managers and project support staff in producing quality management reports, procedures, and documentation.
