Responsibilities: We collaborate with clients and project managers to design security systems tailored to their specific needs.We develop detailed installation plans and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.We execute the installation of security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and related technologies.We install hardware, wiring, and peripherals according to project specifications and safety guidelines.We integrate security systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and software platforms.We configure system settings, protocols, and interfaces to ensure seamless operation and interoperability.We conduct thorough testing and commissioning to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with client expectations.We troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal operation.We create comprehensive documentation of installation procedures, configurations, and system integrations.We maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, wiring diagrams, and test results for future reference and troubleshooting.We provide training to clients and end-users on how to operate and maintain security systems effectively.We offer guidance on best practices for security management, system administration, and troubleshooting.We provide technical support to clients during and after the installation process.We address questions, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.We ensure all installations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.We conduct regular inspections and audits to assess performance and reliability, and recommend improvements as needed. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and oversee the installation and integration of security systems for our clients across London and the South East. In return, we offer a competitive and negotiable salary based on relevant experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, the option to buy additional holiday, a contributory company pension scheme, life assurance, a company van, and a company funded health cash plan.
