We are UK Networks Services (UKNS), an engineering company helping drive the UKs transition to a smarter, more flexible electricity system. Our work spans technical grid consulting and smart grid control systems, with a strong focus on PLC-based control, SCADA, metering, protection and real-time data platforms for grid-scale and distributed energy projects. As a Systems Developer, you will work closely with our CTO and engineering teams to build and enhance the software and data systems behind our smart grid solutions, gaining exposure to cloud, IoT and systems engineering beyond a typical software role. We offer a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, a company bonus scheme, enhanced pension contribution, death in service benefit, salary sacrifice schemes, 25 days annual leave plus local bank holidays, volunteer days, support for local clubs or charities, paid professional registration fees and on-site parking. We are a fair and equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion and an environment where everyone feels respected and able to do their best.
