Your Responsibilities
• Install dike fabric, geotextile fabric, erosion control materials, and related containment systems.
• Assist with site preparation, excavation support, grading, and backfilling activities.
• Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform hand digging, shoveling, raking, and other physical labor tasks.
• Assist equipment operators, pipe crews, and other craft professionals as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and installations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, tar, or paint, through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
• Grinds, sands, or polishes various surfaces.
• Follow refinery and facility-specific safety procedures, permits, and work practices.
• WRS laborers may be asked to stand a fire watch, hole watch or pump watch. They also may be asked to be a truck spotter or rider.
Your Experience & Qualifications
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to problem solve in various situations.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
$20-$22 Per Hour
