Sullivan Motors is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join our growing reconditioning department. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high production standards.
What does an Auto Body Technician Do?
• Repair collision damage on a variety of makes and models
• Replace and repair damaged body panels
• Straighten sheet metal and repair dents
• Perform non-structural body repairs
• Remove and install bumpers, doors, fenders, hoods, trim, lights, and glass
• Weld and fabricate as needed
• Prepare repaired panels for the paint department
• Inspect vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards
• Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional collision repair experience
• Ability to perform complete body repairs with minimal supervision
• Ability to read repair estimates and execute repairs accurately
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• I-CAR certification is a plus but not required
