Role overview of our Project Controller

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Controller to join our project team here at SRT in Jakarta. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will be engaged in the end-to-end project control process within our team as well as supporting the wider Projects support team based in the UK. This is a key role requiring strong attention to detail, ability to diverse and manage your own workload, good project coordination skills, and a passion for driving project improvement. You will play an integral role in ensuring the efficient SRT project implementation in Indonesia.

Responsibilities - Project Controller (not exhaustive):

• Deliver project controls on the project through the application of consistent processes, methods, governance and provision of guidance to the wider in-country project team

• Apply best practise scheduling techniques to optimise schedules, identify and resolve conflicts and assist in the development and maintenance of the project plans, including identifying and tracking dependencies in the project

• Monitor and report on project progress, manage day-to-day accounting activities and prepare financial forecasts

• Collate financial and management reports, dashboard and tracking and analysis of performance information

• Support audits of the project

• Assist with compliance with contractual requirements such as project milestones and applications for payment

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including actions, issues risks logs and documentation management checklists

• Raise Purchase order for project expenditure and track through financial reporting process

• Develop strong working relationships with the project team, internal stakeholders and delivery partners

• Contribute to the development of project related processes, methods, tools, templates, and systems to support efficient project delivery

• Any additional administrative support required by the PM and PMO Manager

Skills & Experience - Project Controller (not exhaustive):

• Professional level of English - both spoken and written

• Degree level education or relevant professional related qualification

• Minimum 2 year’s experience in a similar role, working in a construction or civil engineering environment

• Advanced user of MS Project, SharePoint and MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of ERP systems, finance/controlling processes and tools

• Ability to communicate and influence effectively with stakeholders of all levels (internally and externally)
