Overview The Client Partnerships Manager (CPM) supports project planning and delivery across multiple accounts, and may lead on smaller accounts, acting as the primary client contact and ensuring work aligns with client objectives. They develop and oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance while contributing to content development and identifying opportunities for account growth. This role also focuses on developing junior team members through mentoring and in some cases line management, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Success is defined by strong client relationships, consistent delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget, and effective financial oversight and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
• Interprets client briefs and leads project planning.
• Acts as primary client contact across projects.
• Oversees delivery across multiple projects and accounts in a hands-on fashion, taking accountability for overall project execution.
• Manages budgets, supports forecasting, invoicing, and pipeline tracking.
• Reviews materials to ensure alignment with client strategy and objectives.
• Contributes to content development and therapy area understanding.
• Identifies growth opportunities and supports proposals.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• May line manage junior team members, sets objectives and acts as a trusted mentor to support their development.
• Ensuring detailed understanding of key account content.
• Maintaining understanding of strategic directions as regards projects and accounts.
• Contributing to pitches and confidently developing proposals for existing clients.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Life Science, Project Management or Business.
• Approximately 2-5 years of experience in Medical Communications, in Client Partnerships, Account Management or Project Management.
