Operating Theatre Nurse

An opportunity for a permanent Operating Theatre Nurse has become available in our dedicated and highly skilled Orthopaedic team.

Our theatre teams are passionate professionals who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality efficient service that ensures every patient receives a safe and positive surgical experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse.

Our orthopaedic service has a strong focus on:

• Sports injury procedures

• Foot and ankle surgery

• Hand surgery

With the opening of our new operating theatres next year, our services will continue to grow and expand to include:

• Complex spinal surgery

• Joint replacement procedures

This is an exciting time to join our team and be part of the future development of our orthopaedic service.

This position is offered at 0.8 FTE, providing the opportunity to enjoy an additional day each week for personal commitments, family time, or simply to recharge. For those seeking additional hours, there may also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts when available.

Theatre shifts are rostered Monday to Friday and are generally structured across morning and afternoon sessions. We roster a mixture of 8 , 6, and 10-hour shifts scheduled across two-weeks. Rosters are published four weeks in advance to support work-life balance and planning

KO KOE ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role and become a valued member of our theatre team, you'll bring:

• At least 2–3 years of orthopaedic theatre nursing experience, including both scrubbing and circulating responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, takes pride in their work, and contributes to a positive and supportive theatre culture.
