What you will bring to the role As Lead Nurse for Stroke Services, you will:

Provide visible clinical leadership across the stroke pathway, including hyperacute, acute, rehabilitation, and community interfaces. Lead the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care that reflects national best practice and evidence-based standards. Support the achievement and maintenance of key performance indicators, national stroke audits, and quality standards. Drive service improvement initiatives, innovation, and transformation programmes. Lead workforce planning, staff development, recruitment, and retention strategies. Promote a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and professional excellence. Work collaboratively with medical, therapy, operational, and executive colleagues to deliver strategic objectives. Ensure robust clinical governance arrangements, risk management, and patient safety processes are embedded throughout the service.
