Internal Only Vacancy for Isle of Wight NHS Trust Employees
To provide a professional and efficient secretary/Personal Assistant within the secretarial and administration team. This includes supporting clinical staff within the directorate, in delivering a high-quality service for patients.
We are currently looking to directly replace a vacancy within Care of the Elderly who will also support any shortfalls within the Medicine admin team.
These roles will be working within dynamic office environments, supporting our experienced clinical team(s )to provide the very best possible service for our patients.
This fast paced role will provide the right candidate with daily variety and ongoing sense of achievement. Encompassed within a high quality administrative team, who will welcome new members to the department and support their development and understanding of the requirements of these exciting roles.
Main duties of the job
Act as a personal assistant - being the main contact for the Consultants to support with administrative queries and tasks
Provide a fast, accurate, comprehensive typing service to clinical specialties across the surgical directorate
Undertake compiling of letters using digital system TPRO
Liaison with a wide multi-disciplinary team, regularly communicating with internal and external staff
Validation of patient pathways to ensure results are promptly reviewed and next steps are actioned
Schedule appointments
General office duties and support wider admin team if needed

Qualifications Essential
