19.5 hours per week
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic community phlebotomist who will support the Community Nursing team to provide community phlebotomy to the Hambleton and Richmondshire locality .
Successful candidates will be experienced in working in a health care setting and community experience would be an advantage.
It is essential that the candidate has experience in venepuncture.
Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
Main duties of the job
Obtaining blood samples from patients in their own homes across Hambleton and Richmondshire and could include Tees localities including Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland,.
Maintaining accurate health records.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and be able to work on their own and as part of the team.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Training Essential
NVQ 2 or other equivalent qualification in health related subject or equivalent experience Venepuncture training
Experience Essential
Experience of working with minimal supervision, and with a high degree of accuracy.
Desirable
Having worked in a health care related role.
Knowledge & Skills Essential
Excellent IT skills and able to use software packages. Excellent organisational skills and time management.
