We are seeking Dock Operatives to join our container terminal team at the Port of Dublin, where we will support you to build your skills, gain valuable experience and progress your career in a role that makes a real difference every day.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your role</b></H2> </div><div><p>As a Dock Operative, you will play a vital role in keeping our terminal running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a supportive team that helps move containerised goods for customers and communities. You will be trained to operate a variety of ground based plant (Shunt, Empty Container Handler, Reach stacker), followed by vertical plant as required (STS and CRMG cranes),carry out pre-checks on plant, machinery and equipment prior to commencing operations, reporting any damages and defects without delay.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you’ll bring</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will have:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">previous experience operating plant and equipment;</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">the ability to solve problems and deliver appropriate solutions to drive forward the operation;</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">strong team skills;</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">a full Irish driving licence.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Who are we?</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Already one of Ireland’s leading port companies, with a group turnover in excess of £500 million, We have ambitious plans to transform the supply chain for our customers and the communities we are part of.
