The hotel is comprised of four exquisite buildings – three of them historic and beautifully restored – and welcomes guests arriving by land or sea.</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">An exceptional opportunity to join our high-profile hotel in Istanbul.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">The Peninsula Hotels espouses luxury service, dedication to our customers, and commitment to our employees. </span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Be a part of the highly experienced team.</span></li> </ul> <p><br><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Key accountabilities</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ensures all local building, fire and authority regulations including relevant standards, codes of practice and insurance requirements are enforced and observed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ensures Engineering maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operating Procedures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Carries out all mechanical and plumbing work connected with hot and cold-water supplies including AHU and FCU, Fire Fighting System, Soil & Waste disposal system, ensuring drain channels and pipes are regularly cleaned under planned maintenance program.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Repairs and maintains in good working condition all plumbing works such as flushing system, toilet bowls, urinals, basins and vent pipes and waste pipes, etc., including floor traps and grease traps.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Carries out inspection, testing and chemical treatment to swimming pools, jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam room.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Cooperates and co-ordinates with all engineers and external contractors whenever necessary and interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"> </span></li> </ul> <p><br><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">General requirements</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Have a strong experience in engineering operations of the Hotel and a good understanding of building service such as HVAC systems and Plumbing & Drainage.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">At least 3 years in a similar engineering role within hotels.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Certificate of Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Self-starter, independent, good presentation, and problem-solving skills. </span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Analytical, detailed oriented, organized, customer oriented, goals and result-oriented and articulate.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to contribute and initiate/lead environment and energy conservation programme, campaigned by the hotel.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"> </span></li> </ul> <p><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">We would be delighted to receive your CV and will liaise directly with suitable applicants.</span></p><style type="text/css">.responsive { width: 100%; max-width: 550px; height: auto; } </style> <p style="text-align:center"> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><img class="responsive" src="https://performancemanager10.successfactors.com/doc/custom/hshmanagemD/PITbenefits-SupervisorandGeneralStaffEnglish.gif"></p> <p style="text-align:center"> </p>
