Role Purpose <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Senior Strategic Sourcer for IT Category covering different sub-categories in IT for high value and complex deals.</li> </ul> Responsibilities Key Scope: Relationship Management <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Proactively foster effective collaboration and ensure strong communication with key client stakeholders and colleagues in and across the region(s) to deliver defined business goals.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Develop key client stakeholder matrix per category/location, maintaining regular engagement and driving high levels of client engagement and satisfaction.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ensure appropriate supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Act as key contact person for IT category with expertise on one of sub-categories (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) and sourcing initiatives.</li> </ul> Sourcing Planning <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Perform spend and contract analysis to identify sourcing and cost reduction opportunities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to formulate category specific cost / license / service models such as. for appropriate business needs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Working with clients and colleagues, define and implement IT strategies and sourcing area plans for global and regional strategies.</li> </ul> Management of Sourcing Initiatives <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Lead and execute IT (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) sourcing projects from end-to-end in line with agreed timelines and service quality.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Deliver allocated savings target as assigned to categories and locations though the effective management of sourcing initiatives, with proper tracking and reporting of savings achievements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ensure a high-level of ethics in supplier and / or client engagements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Provide sourcing subject matter expertise, solutions and be involved to support client engagements and / or pitches.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Provide sourcing planning and execution of projects across a dynamic, multi-client environment</li> </ul> Main responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to work independently as well as being a team-player as part of a cross functional team.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong sourcing and contracting experience in Knowledge of procurement of the following sub-categories - IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud and Datacenter services</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Deep understanding of License Model, Service Models, IT – Applications and InfraStructure</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Ability to negotiate and maintain relationship with the third-party IT vendors like IBM, Oracle, Wipro, and small OEMs etc., who can provide the licenses / services</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Highly competent in negotiations and contract knowledge with a strong ability to converse, negotiate with suppliers (preferably IT vendors) / clients and review contracts in English.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong project management experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experienced in conducting tenders (request for information/proposal/quotation).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Cross-category sourcing experience will be advantageous</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">15+ Years of Experience in Souricng and IT Category</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management and/or Legal) or industry experience equivalent.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Additional Sourcing/Procurement certification will be advantageous.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong oral and written English</li> </ul> Join a truly global team.
