This role partners closely with the lead Project Manager and Senior Engineer to coordinate project activities, monitor progress, support technical solutions, contribute to cost estimates, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with Bel standards.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Contribute as an active member of the construction project team to ensure project plans are executed according to scope, timeline, budget, and Bel standards.</li> <li>Participate in daily safety briefings</li> <li>Participate in daily / weekly / monthly project timeline updates</li> <li>Support the Senior Engineer in reviewing work completed against project drawings, specifications, timeline, and quality expectations.</li> <li>Take ownership of assigned project workstreams and follow through on actions needed to support project completion and success.</li> <li>Maintain regular on-site presence to monitor project progress, identify risks, and support timely resolution of issues.</li> <li>Coordinate daily with general contractors and subcontractor crews to support project execution, contractor accountability, and a safe work environment for all.</li> <li>Lead or support special projects and engineering initiatives as assigned by the Senior Engineer or Project Manager.</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>These duties shall also include: </li> <ul type="square"> <li>Organize follow-up meetings, prepare minutes, and develop / monitor progress reports, dashboards, and key project indicators.</li> <li>Manage / maintain follow-up with stakeholders (factory, city, state, etc) and affected members, including timeline tracking</li> <li>Monitor and support compliance with safety, quality, environmental, sanitation, food safety, and good manufacturing processes defined by Bel.</li> <li>Contribute to equipment and process installation, commissioning, and validation activities.</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li style="list-style:none"> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li style="list-style:none"> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Support project planning by helping define needs, evaluate technical options, prepare cost estimates, and contribute to recommendations.</li> <li>Participate in the supervision of project execution, including scope follow-up, cost tracking, deadline monitoring, and escalation of risks or deviations.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <ul type="circle"> <ul type="square"> <li>Manage project documentation and archives.</li> <li>Follow all food safety procedures and Bel safety procedures.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Competencies:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Process, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. GPA +3.0 preferred.</li> <li>Proven experience in engineering project coordination, site construction, industrial coordination, maintenance, or manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Strong MS Office skills required, including Excel for project tracking, cost follow-up, and reporting.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and basic measurement information.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external contractors, and follow through on project deliverables.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Knowledge of the following programs is a huge plus:</li> <ul type="circle"> <li>Microsoft Project</li> <li>AutoCAD</li> <li>SAP</li> <li>Familiarity with programming logic</li> </ul> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Performance Expectations: </strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Confidentiality, quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and thoroughness of work performed; ability to gain the trust of senior management, management team at the facility and employees, maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information; ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with all levels of the company, ability to work with and through others is essential to accomplish goals and objectives of the Company.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, ability to manage multiple tasks, good communication, and teamwork and team spirit.</li> <li>Strong Safety culture mindset</li> </ul> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>Bel Brands is an equal employment opportunity employer.
