This role drives Software Asset Management (SAM) maturity, ensures license compliance, optimizes software spend, and aligns licensing strategy with business and IT transformation initiatives.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Define and lead the global Software Asset Management (SAM) strategy and governance.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Oversee lifecycle of software assets including procurement, deployment, utilization, and retirement.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements and manage audit risk.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lead software license audits and vendor true-ups.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Drive cost optimization and eliminate unused licenses.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT on licensing strategies.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage vendor relationships for major software providers.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Implement and enhance SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM, Flexera).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide executive reporting on compliance and cost optimization.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Align licensing strategy with cloud and SaaS environments.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"> </p> <p style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field. Relevant certifications preferred (CSAM, ITIL, FinOps)</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">7+ years in Sofware Assess Management or related discipline.
