Key Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Communicates with key team and management associates relative to purchases consistent with needs and specifications.</li> <li>Ensures weekly inventory is correct and there are no errors before submission</li> <li>Negotiates pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.</li> <li>Reviews shipments to ensure products received are consistent orders. </li> <li>Compiles monthly reports</li> <li>Works with Excel and Visual Basic to manage inventory</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li>Minimum of Associate's Degree preferred</li> <li>Minimum of three years related experience in field</li> <li>Must have full knowledge of purchasing procedures, food, beverage and printing products</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ordering systems</li> <li>Good knowledge of food and inventory trends with a focus on operations</li> <li>P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable</li> <li>Possess accurate data-entry skills, computer skills, and be detailed oriented with great organizational skills</li> <li>Knowledge of school nutrition / food industry and/or purchasing strongly preferred.</li> <li>Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet</li> <li>Serv Safe certified highly desirable</li> </ul> </div></div></div>Apply to Morrison Healthcare today!
