Operations Assistant Naas Mon-Fri 07.00-15.30, 08.00-16.30, 10.00-18.30, 37.5 hours, rotation of shifts To meet customers' requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their cargo effectively and in accordance with company operational procedures and statutory requirements including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and the profit of the company. What will you be doing? • Plan, arrange, monitor, and control all aspects of distribution planning • Support haulage planning across national routes • Ensure compliance with company quality policies and objectives, maintaining KPIs • Carry out general administrative duties, including event management, invoicing, filing, handling queries, claims, and cost checking in line with departmental requirements • Respond promptly to general enquiries, escalating issues where necessary • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, suppliers, and other offices • Maximise the efficient utilisation of the vehicle fleet • Prepare accurate documentation for the warehouse team to support the timely loading and offloading of cargo • Produce reports and KPIs as required • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by management About You Strong knowledge of the logistics and transport sector Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service Proficient in PC systems and transport operating software Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure Good problem-solving skills and good geographical knowledge of Ireland What can we offer you?
