set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career development</li> <li>Own team delivery: planning, prioritization, execution, and predictable release cadence</li> <li>Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps</li> <li>Guide architecture and technical decisions across services, APIs, and data systems</li> <li>Establish and uphold engineering standards: code quality, testing, documentation, and secure development practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>AI-First Engineering</strong></p> <ul> <li>Champion <strong>AI-first engineering</strong>: embed AI-assisted development, testing, observability, and operations into day-to-day workflows</li> <li>Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work (code generation, reviews, incident triage, runbooks, data pipelines)</li> <li>Build team capability to adopt agentic and LLM-based tools responsibly, with clear guardrails for security, quality, and compliance</li> <li>Use data and AI-driven insights to improve velocity, defect rates, and operational efficiency</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Ownership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee design and delivery of <strong>REST/GraphQL APIs</strong> and backend services in <strong>Go</strong> and <strong>Python</strong></li> <li>Guide data architecture across <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>, <strong>Redis</strong>, and <strong>ClickHouse</strong> for transactional, caching, and analytics workloads</li> <li>Support <strong>Data Lakehouse</strong> strategy: ingestion, modeling, governance, and analytics enablement</li> <li>Ensure systems are observable, debuggable, and production-ready using <strong>ELK</strong> and <strong>Grafana</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Operational Excellence</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and track SLOs/SLIs, incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Drive reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and scalability across services and data platforms</li> <li>Own capacity planning, on-call practices, and operational runbooks</li> <li>Foster a blameless culture focused on learning and prevention</li> </ul> <p><strong>Talent Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hire, onboard, and retain strong engineers;
