<p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Engine Test Lab Materials Coordinator is responsible for ordering and maintaining the parts inventory for the Engine Test Laboratory (ETL) at the PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon, WA. This role supports test operations related to emissions compliance and onboard diagnostics testing for PACCAR’s MX engine platform for Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF semi-trucks by ensuring timely availability of engine parts, assemblies, and shop supplies.</span></p> <h3> </h3> <h3><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Job Responsibilities </span></h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Order and maintain inventory of shop supplies and engine components to support lab operations</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain and organize warehouse storage areas for engines, aftertreatment systems, and related components<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Track, document, and manage inventory <br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Locate and source parts required for engine builds, rebuilds, and test configurations using internal systems (BOMs, RMI, VOG, etc.)<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support engineers and technicians by ensuring materials are available and properly staged for testing activities<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to move and organize parts safely and efficiently<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in meetings to coordinate material needs for upcoming tests and projects<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain accurate records of inventory status, material locations, and usage<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in warehouse and lab areas<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Identify opportunities for process improvements in material flow, storage, and inventory management<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform duties safely and efficiently with minimal supervision<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Respond to shifting priorities and test schedules<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate shipping and receiving of test parts and assemblies</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3>Qualifications & Skills</h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with ordering and maintaining parts inventory of semi-truck, automotive, industrial, or agricultural equipment.</li> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and support multiple customers simultaneously</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li> <li>Ability to learn internal systems, new software systems, and databases quickly</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently</li> <li>Familiarity with SAP for materials ordering is highly desirable</li> <li>Experience with dealership part systems preferred</li> <li>Associate degree in Diesel or Automotive Technology preferred </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3>About PACCAR </h3> <p> </p> <p>PACCAR is a Fortune 200 company established in 1905. The salary range for the Engine Test Lab Materials Coordinator is $67,800 - $101,700 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
