About this role

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, team player to join the Central Neighbourhood team as a Business Support Administrator to cover maternity leave.

At North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board we are committed to providing high quality care and support to our community.

The post holder will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Central Neighbourhood team, working with colleagues across the NENC ICB, ensuring deadlines are achieved within a constantly changing workload.

The role covers Sunderland, South Tyneside & Durham.

This post is to cover maternity leave for 6 months.

Main duties of the job

Provide effective, comprehensive, confidential, administrative and/or project business level support on a day-to-day basis.

Be aware of work priorities and need to ensure all required deadlines are met.

Support teams with business requests including project-based work, collating reports and or data, supporting with meetings and events, arranging dates and venues, collating agenda items and supporting documents and papers, producing minutes and progress action logs relevant to this.

Work as an effective team member to ensure that all administrative/data/project work priorities are covered across the organisation.

To support the wider team working in the directorate.

Job description Job responsibilities

The post holder has lead responsibility in delivering the following key result areas:

Provision of a first class, comprehensive business support service to thesenior management team, including drafting correspondence, reports, data and/or other documents to a consistently high standard which may include work of a sensitive and confidential nature. Demonstration of a professional image always, ensuring tact and diplomacy appropriate to a business environment. To be aware of the priorities, ensuring all work deadlines are met. Maintain filing systems ensuring efficient collation, storage and retrieval of information to support an effective document management system and retrieval of associated correspondence. Arrange, co-ordinate and attend meetings and/or professional events(sometimes complex) to accurately record the proceedings and subsequently prepare draft minutes/action logs.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

RSA/NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience

Experience Essential

Significant business support level experience and acquired knowledge of relevant process or procedures. Significant experience of providing project/business level support Demonstrable level of experience of Microsoft Office package including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note. Identify significant experience of using MS Office packages to ensure efficient and effective business support. Experience of working in a high pressured and fast paced environment

Desirable

Experience of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Oracle procurement experience Previous experience of supervising / managing staff.
