The post holder will lead a team to support the management of Inclusion Staffordshire STaRS (Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery System) service and be responsible for a specialist area within Staffordshire STaRS.
The post holder will contribute to the strategic and operational development of the service.
The post holder will monitor performance in relation to contract and relevant key performance indicators and outcomes.

1. The post-holder will manage a team as a member of the STarS service delivering treatment options to service users2. The post-holder will manage and be responsible for a specialist function within the service3. The post holder will hold a small caseload clients. This may change depending on service demand.4. A major part of the role is to integrate a strengths-based recovery approach into the service and support staff in meeting targets set.5. To work alongside the Inclusion Management team in ensuring service targets are met by mentoring and supervising staff. To take a lead role in service promotion and encouraging new Service Users into treatment. 6. To provide support to the Operational Leads and Service Manager on a day-to-day basis to ensure effective service delivery and staff support.7. The ability to be flexible and adapt to service needs
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Honours Degree in a related field, or a professional Qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or probation, or be able to demonstrate in application and interview equivalent experience in the Substance misuse field.
Experience Essential
Experience in managing a variety of professional staff Be able to demonstrate in application and interview equivalent experience in the Substance misuse field. A minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a health and social care setting.
