Main duties of the job As a Support Worker at Enable, based in Wareham, you'll play a vital role in making a meaningful difference in young individuals' lives. By providing person-centered care, you will support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs. The role promotes independence for up to 11 people residing in this service. We seek enthusiastic individuals with great people skills and a proactive approach. Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
