Dental Nurse (Band 4) x 2
The post will close once we have received a sufficient number of applications.
The post holder will be supported by the Senior Dental Nurses, Dental nurse specialists, RGN's & multidisciplinary team to undertake all relevant aspects of dental nursing and patient management: and be expected to act in an accountable manner, adhering to relevant codes of conduct and Trust policies.

Main duties of the job Deliver evidence-based dental nursing care in line with professional standards. Ensure equipment is safe, functional, and faults are reported promptly. Prepare clinical areas, patient records, and treatment documentation. Support patients throughout their treatment and respond to queries appropriately. Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and best practice initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary team working and patient care planning. Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition or safety concerns. Organise workload effectively and escalate concerns when required. Support health, safety, and smooth running of the department. Assist in managing designated clinical areas and coordinate services when required. Report incidents, accidents, and complaints via the Trust reporting system.Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Demonstrate professional behaviour consistent with Trust values. Participate in training, appraisal, mandatory education, and ongoing professional development. Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of patients, colleagues, and visitors.
