We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join our Facilities Services team. This varied and rewarding role provides the chance to develop a broad range of administrative skills while supporting key services that contribute directly to patient care and experience.

Working across Facilities Services, you will provide administrative support that helps ensure the smooth delivery of essential services within the Trust. While the role will have a particular focus on supporting Catering Services and elements of the patient meal journey, you will also have opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the wider Estates and Facilities Division.
You will play an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting service delivery, and building positive working relationships with staff at all levels. As the team continues its programme of digital transformation, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of new digital processes, helping to improve efficiency and enhance the overall service provided to patients and staff.

Working across multiple Facilities functions, with a particular focus on Catering Services, this role offers excellent exposure to different areas of healthcare support services. The post will primarily support Catering Services Mondays to Fridays, with opportunities to work across the wider Estates and Facilities division across your working week.
Our Catering team plays an important part in delivering a positive experience for patients every day. Behind every meal served is a team ensuring that information, orders, finances and performance data are accurate and up to date.
You'll be at the centre of that process.
Your work will directly support services that help improve patient experience and ensure our teams have the information they need to make good decisions.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GCSE (or equivalent) - Maths & English NVQ 3 or equivalent in Customer Service or Business Admin or willingness to work towards it. Evidence of continuous professional development particularly in regard to communication skills and working in a role that requires liaison across a range of health and/ or social care departments.
Desirable
NVQ 3 or equivalent in Business Administration
Experience Essential
Proficient keyboard skills Experience in prioritising work and working to deadlines Experience with working accurately with attention to detail, despite interruptions Good communication skills and telephone manner Information collection and processing
Knowledge Essential
Strong IT skills inc. Microsoft Office Applications Ability to show initiative and to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities often at short notice Ability to work autonomously and exercise judgment/discretion
