About this role

Job summary

The Women's and Children's Division is looking for a self-motivated and capable personal assistant to join their team at Whipps Cross Hospital.

The post holder will provide high quality administrative support to the Divisional Quadumvirate and the wider leadership team as required. They will prepare and support key monthly meetings, collating papers, recording minutes, and following up on actions.

The post holder will proactively manage the team's diaries and make meeting arrangements.

Previous NHS experience is not essential. Training can be provided to those who can demonstrate the core competencies and a willingness and aptitude to learn.

To provide comprehensive and proactive PA support to the Women's and Children's Divisional Leadership Team.

Qualifications Essential

Educated to A-level standard or equivalent qualification or demonstrable equivalent administrative experience

Desirable

Additional administrative/business qualification

Experience Essential

Evidence of performing administrative/PA or secretarial duties comparable to the role, including: Managing diaries and correspondence Organising meetings (agenda setting, papers, minutes) Supporting senior staff or leadership teams

Experience working within an NHS or healthcare setting

Skills Essential

Evidence of using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to produce professional documents, presentations, and manage diaries

Experience with NHS systems (e.g. e-rostering) or digital content creation (newsletters, posters)

Communication Skill Essential

Evidence of communicating clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders (e.g. senior managers, clinicians, external organisations), including written correspondence and minute-taking
