We are seeking to recruit an experienced administrator to join our supportive and dynamic admin team who will also lead in QOF within the Practice.
The Practice Quality & Compliance Coordinator will lead and coordinate the Practice's quality assurance, governance and compliance functions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory performance. The role is responsible for driving QOF achievement, managing audit programmes, supporting quality improvement initiatives, maintaining CQC readiness, and ensuring robust governance processes are embedded across the Practice.
Working collaboratively with clinicians and managers, the post holder will use data, insight and effective coordination to identify opportunities for improvement, support organisational learning and help the Practice achieve its strategic and contractual objectives.
Main duties of the job
Lead and coordinate the Practice's Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) programme, monitoring performance and supporting achievement of key targets.Produce and analyse reports, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring data quality is maintained.Coordinate clinical audits and quality improvement activities, monitoring progress and outcomes.Support the Practice's clinical governance framework, including incident reporting, policy reviews and action tracking.Maintain evidence and documentation to support compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.Assist with the preparation for inspections, reviews and contractual reporting requirements.Work collaboratively with clinicians and practice staff to promote continuous quality improvement and best practice.Monitor compliance with Practice policies, procedures and NHS contractual obligations.Provide administrative and project support for governance, compliance and performance-related initiatives.

Job Summary:
The Practice Quality & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the Practice's quality, governance and compliance activities to support the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
The post holder will take ownership of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) programme, ensuring performance is effectively monitored, targets are achieved and opportunities for improvement are identified. The role will also support clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, regulatory compliance and Care Quality Commission (CQC) preparedness.
Working closely with the Practice Manager, clinical leads and wider practice team, the post holder will promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the Practice meets contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuality and Outcomes Framework (QOF)Lead the coordination, monitoring and reporting of QOF performance across the Practice.Monitor achievement against QOF indicators and identify areas requiring action.Undertake searches, recalls and data validation activities to support QOF delivery.Liaise with clinicians and administrative teams to maximise performance and patient outcomes.Produce regular performance reports and maintain QOF action plans.Ensure clinical coding and data quality processes support accurate reporting.Quality Improvement and AuditCoordinate and support clinical and non-clinical audit programmes.Maintain records of audit activity and monitor completion of action plans.Assist in the development and delivery of quality improvement projects.Analyse data and performance trends to identify opportunities for service improvement.Support the implementation and evaluation of improvement initiatives.Governance and ComplianceSupport the Practice's clinical governance framework and related activities.Maintain governance records, action logs and compliance trackers.Assist in the investigation and documentation of significant events, incidents and complaints.Support the review and updating of Practice policies, procedures and protocols.Ensure governance documentation is stored and maintained appropriately.Care Quality Commission (CQC)Lead on maintaining evidence and documentation required to demonstrate compliance with CQC standards.Coordinate preparation for inspections and regulatory reviews.Monitor compliance against CQC quality statements and associated action plans.Support managers and clinicians in maintaining inspection readiness.Ensure evidence folders and supporting documentation remain accurate and up to date.Performance ReportingProduce regular reports relating to quality, governance, audits, compliance and performance.Develop and maintain dashboards and monitoring tools.Analyse information from clinical systems and other data sources.Present information in a clear and meaningful format for management and clinical teams.General ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with all members of the Practice team.Maintain confidentiality and comply with all information governance requirements.Participate in Practice meetings and relevant training activities.Support the achievement of Practice objectives and organisational priorities.Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and grade as reasonably required.
