Overview:
The Junior Systems Administrator supports the company’s core business systems and end-user technology environment. This role combines NetSuite administration, remote monitoring and management (RMM), desktop support, onboarding/offboarding, and user access permission management across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within IT systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. NetSuite Administration
Assist with NetSuite configuration, customization, and maintenance. Create and update saved searches, reports, and dashboards to support business teams. Troubleshoot user issues and escalate complex cases as needed. Support data imports, audits, and clean-up activities. Help maintain roles, permissions, and system documentation.
2. RMM & Endpoint Management Monitor and manage company devices using the RMM tool (updates, security, alerts). Perform routine patching, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting. Ensure workstation compliance with IT and security policies.
3. Desktop Support Provide Level 1–2 technical support for macOS/Windows devices, peripherals, and applications. Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues for on-site and remote employees. Maintain inventory of devices, accessories, and licenses.
4. Google Workspace Administration Manage user accounts, groups, shared drives, and security settings in Google Workspace. Support onboarding/offboarding workflows, including email setup, groups, and access provisioning. Troubleshoot Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, and Admin Console issues.
5. User Access & Permissions Management Create, modify, suspend, and audit user accounts across core systems (NetSuite, Google Workspace, RMM, SaaS tools). Follow security best practices, including least-privilege access and MFA enforcement. Maintain documentation of access processes and approval workflows.
6. Onboarding & Offboarding Set up new-hire accounts, equipment, permissions, and workspace tools. Conduct IT orientation for new employees. Deprovision accounts and secure data access during offboarding.
Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field. Basic knowledge of NetSuite, ERP workflows, or a willingness to learn quickly. Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and SaaS management. Experience with RMM tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne, Kandji, etc.) preferred. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of English (C1).
