Scope of the RoleThe HR Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations across a global remote workforce. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on people processes, compliance, documentation, and day-to-day employee support. You will partner closely with leadership to maintain a strong people foundation while the company continues to scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end HR operations for a fully remote, international teamOwn onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experienceMaintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentationSupport payroll coordination and contractor compliance across multiple regionsAct as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and processesAssist with performance review cycles and feedback processesSupport hiring operations in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managersHelp define, document, and improve HR policies and internal processesEnsure compliance with labour regulations for contractors and remote workersSupport company culture initiatives, engagement, and internal communications Requirements
Requirements:3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist roleStrong experience supporting remote and international teamsSolid understanding of HR operations, contracts, and compliance for contractorsExperience working with HRIS tools and documentation systemsHigh level of organisation and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environmentComfortable partnering with leadership and cross-functional teamsExperience in tech, SaaS, or e-commerce environments is a strong plus
