Job Overview:
We’re helping our client, a fast-growing, pre-IPO cookware brand, find an Ecommerce Site Operations Specialist to join their digital team. In this role, you’ll manage, maintain and optimize the brand’s eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless, high-performing, and engaging online shopping experience for customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
Manage and update website content using a CMS, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Integrate e-commerce functionalities such as third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience. Monitor and optimize website performance, including site speed, responsiveness, and efficiency. Implement SEO best practices and track performance using analytics tools to drive continuous improvement. Ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility for a seamless user experience. Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align web presence with branding and marketing strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain site functionality.
Requirements
At least 2 years experience in eCommerce website development, preferably in a retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment. Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS (e.g., Shopify). Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field a plus. Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
