How would you like to work in IT, toying with cutting edge technologies and enjoying your life? At Orange Services, it’s possible!
As one of the largest IT Hub within Orange Group, we are working internationally for both Orange corporate functions and country operations. Through a unique combination of know-how and expertise, our teams provide a broad range of IT & Business Solutions.
Come closer to #LifeAtOrange! What we’re looking for
This is not a QA role.
We are looking for an experienced Automation Developer to build and deliver digital workers within our UiPath ecosystem. Your primary responsibility is the end-to-end development of robust automation workflows that are integrated into the wider enterprise landscape.
In this role, you will use UiPath as your core platform, while integrating LLMs through prompt engineering to handle complex instructions and unstructured data. You will prioritize API-led connectivity over UI interactions and build data-driven solutions using Python and SQL. As part of the Orange Group’s leading automation program, you will be responsible for developing stable, high-performance solutions that transform manual business processes into efficient digital assistants.
What you’ll be doing
As an Automation Developer, you will:
• Build complex automation solutions in UiPath, shifting between UI-based interactions and robust API-led (REST/SOAP) architectures.
• Design and implement Agentic workflows by defining discrete toolsets (APIs, reusable libraries) that allow AI agents to execute autonomous reasoning loops.
• Integrate LLMs into production processes using advanced Prompt Engineering and structured data grounding (JSON/XML) to handle complex, non-linear instructions.
• Develop and maintain scalable code libraries and custom activities to ensure modularity and interoperability across the automation ecosystem.
• Translate business process requirements into technical logic, ensuring solutions include Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) checkpoints and error-handling guardrails.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (AS-IS/TO-BE) and secure necessary validations from Cybersecurity and Data Privacy stakeholders.
• Estimate development effort and define technical phases for end-to-end project execution, from discovery to deployment.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, including regression tests and the implementation of performance monitoring for all delivered solutions.
• Analyze production logs and system telemetry to optimize the stability, speed, and cost-efficiency of AI-augmented automations.
• Collaborate with senior developers and infrastructure engineers to ensure all work aligns with internal development standards, security protocols, and non-standard environment configurations.
What you need to know/have
Technical skills
• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybernetics)
• 3-4 years of general IT experience, with a minimum 2 years of experience in developing software automations (RPA) within the UiPath ecosystem.
• Advanced proficiency in UiPath Studio (modular design, library creation) and Orchestrator management.
• Experience in integrating AI/LLM APIs and applying prompt engineering within production workflows.
• Strong ability to build and consume REST/SOAP APIs to replace or augment UI-based automation.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, complex logic handling, and AI grounding.
• Understanding of database design and SQL querying for data-driven automation.
• Proficiency in Version Control (Git), including branching and merging strategies.
• Experience in Business Analysis for automation, including process mapping and technical synthesis (AS-IS/TO-BE).
Soft skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong advantage.
• Autonomy in managing assigned projects and the ability to take technical decisions at a project level.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills for complex, non-linear business processes.
• Strong team-player attitude in international environments, collaborating with developers, architects, and business consultants.
• Proactive approach in proposing process optimizations and transforming legacy workflows into digital assistants.
• Adaptability and flexibility in navigating shifting project requirements and technical AI challenges.
• Effective communication skills to inform stakeholders on progress and manage technical risks during execution.
