Job Overview We’re seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our partnerships within the optics and eyewear industry. This is a highly outbound-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in prospecting, cold outreach, and building genuine connections with decision-makers. You’ll play a key role in generating qualified leads and fueling the growth pipeline for our partnerships team.
Key Responsibilities Conduct cold outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to targeted optics and eyewear companies Generate qualified leads and schedule discovery calls for the partnerships team Research the optics market and identify high-potential brand and retail prospects Maintain an organized pipeline and track prospect interactions using CRM tools Communicate the company’s value proposition clearly and persuasively Nurture early-stage leads to build and maintain sales momentum Collaborate with internal teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging Share feedback on market trends, objections, and competitive insights
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation (Experience in SaaS or retail technology is a plus) Proven ability to conduct cold calls and handle objections effectively Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach to outreach Ability to understand and explain technical solutions in simple terms Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
