About this role
As a Demand & Inventory Planning Manager, you will lead the Global Retail Demand Planning process across both running and new product portfolios, ensuring a high-quality demand signal to the Supply Chain and supporting product availability for our customers worldwide. More about the role :
• Leading the monthly Global Demand Planning process for existing products and new product launches. • Developing and maintaining rolling demand forecasts by combining statistical models with market intelligence and portfolio strategy. • Supporting the global implementation and continuous improvement of Demand Planning and SI&OP processes, including training and coaching local market teams. • Monitoring forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and other planning KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions. • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting efficiency, accuracy, and planning processes. • Preparing and facilitating weekly Demand & Supply Review meetings with Distribution Centers. • Partnering with Supply Chain teams through Daily Management routines to proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate supply risks. • Supporting local markets in achieving inventory targets through inventory analysis, implementation of global best practices, and collaboration with local leadership. • Ensuring compliance with global portfolio governance and agreed Phonak and Unitron exception management processes. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, or a similar planning function. • Proven experience managing forecasting processes within a global or international business environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into business decisions. • Solid understanding of inventory management principles and end-to-end supply chain processes. • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making. • Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and driving alignment across multiple teams. • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to optimize processes. • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. • Knowledge of the French language is nice to have.
