Physician Assistant – Cardiology (Outpatient) Baylor Scott & White Health | Waxahachie Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Patient Volume: Approximately 16–17 patients per day Position Overview Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology team serving Waxahachie, TX. This role focuses on general cardiology in a clinic-based setting and offers a predictable weekday schedule with minimal weekend responsibility. New graduates are welcome to apply, though prior cardiology experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for general cardiology patients

• Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Document care plans and coordinate patient services

• Participate in infrequent weekend rounding rotation

Schedule & Call

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• No call requirements for APPs

• Weekend rounding approximately one weekend every 2–3 months

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• NCCPA certified or eligible

• Licensed or eligible for PA licensure in Texas

• Cardiology experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - &nbspBasic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

&nbspPhysician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
