Your new adventure In this role, you are responsible for the requirements definition, test planning, and release approval of mechanical assemblies and components for complex powertrain systems:

• Develop and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for engines, transmissions and powertrain systems

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate functional, durability, and validation testing activities (DVP)

• Analyze, interpret, and validate measurement data and derive technical recommendations

• Investigate component failures and identify opportunities for product improvement

• Define requirements, specifications, and validation targets in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders

• Lead and coordinate testing activities with test benches, workshops, and validation teams

• Document and present test results and technical findings

• Contribute to series support, product enhancements, and new development projects

• Close cooperation with Predictive Engineering, design engineering, test bench operations, project management and customers

Your skills and experiences

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related technical discipline

• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and the product development process

• Ideally, experience with internal combustion engines, transmissions, or powertrain systems

• Experience in measurement data analysis and interpretation is an advantage

• High level of self-reliance combined with a structured, analytical, and methodical working approach

• Strong communication skills in both German and English

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53,240.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
