About this role
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily material movement between the warehouse and shop floor. • Supervise material handlers/helpers engaged in loading, unloading, and internal material movement. • Ensure timely issuance of raw materials and receipt of finished or returned materials. • Coordinate with production, planning, quality, and other departments to meet operational requirements. • Perform accurate ERP/system transactions for all material movements. • Maintain records of material transfers, stock movements, and related documentation. • Monitor material availability and communicate shortages or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor. • Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials. • Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed where applicable. • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities. • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with company safety procedures. • Report operational issues, delays, or inventory discrepancies promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor. • Assist in implementing warehouse process improvements and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Experience coordinating with production/shop floor teams. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as Xpedeon, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). • Good knowledge of warehouse documentation and inventory control.
