Linen Distribution Technician; 0.2FTE; Day Shift

Job Description: On-call support, standard shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with alternating weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

The Linen Distribution Technician receives all linen into the Meriter computer system. Using the computer system, this position maintains accurate linen inventory through purchasing and cycle counting. The Linen Distribution Technician assists in maintaining appropriate linen inventory levels, performs periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) distribution functions related to service requests, Scrub management, and soiled linen management for Hospital units and clinic locations.

Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or GED • Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills • Computer keyboard and basic accounting skills • Good concentration and problem-solving skills • Good organization and detail skills • Three months of computer experience with inventory control and receiving (preferred) EEO/M/F/D/V
