Job Description: Lab Technician Beverage with focus on Product Development Beverage (m/f/d)

What would be your key responsibilities • You support the development and production of innovative concepts and formulations for our national and international customers in the Beverage industry • You are involved in development briefings, i.e. from the idea for a product through to production • You carry out laboratory blending in compliance with time, cost and quality specifications • You provide finished product and product samples • You are responsible for the sensory and physical evaluation, control and qualification of product samples • You carry out analytical tests and interpret the results • You check the ingredients (flavors, colors, etc.) and make appropriate adjustments to the formulations while observing the cost and quality aspects • You advise and support the processing of customer complaints • You take care of the maintenance of master data as well as application and development data in the IT systems • You ensure compliance with and monitoring of internal and legal requirements and guidelines on hygiene, working hours, food safety and environmental protection, as well as iso-processes
What will make you successful • You have bachelor’s degree in food or beverage technology, nutritional science, or a similar field • You have some experience in product development in the food industry, as well as an interest in nutrition and food trends • You have a keen interest in product development, as well as nutrition and food trends • You have a passion and technical understanding for complex product development processes, as well as a strong problem-solving ability • You love innovation, are constantly generating new ideas, and you are not afraid to try new approaches • You enjoy taking the initiative, can handle pressure, and take responsibility for your projects • You think “outside the box” and agile working comes naturally to you • You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and enjoy building partnerships as well as collaborating across functions and cultures • You are familiar with common software programs (MS Office, SAP), have a certain affinity for IT, and can research information • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills • You hold a valid European work permit
