About the Role This is a rare dual-mandate role designed for a highly motivated, high performing professional who wants to operate at the intersection of sales growth to support ADM’s spiral filtration strategy & commercial execution and engaging in broader Sustainable Materials and enterprise strategy and business development. You will develop, scale, sustain and execute upon a sales pipeline for one of the newest additions to ADM’s portfolio of businesses as a strategic part of Carbohydrate Solutions and the Sustainable Materials business. Simultaneously, while you will be a key contributor to the commercial growth of ADM Spiral’s commercialization efforts, you will also get exposure to and engage in broader strategy, business development, and Innovation & Growth priorities for Sustainable Materials, Carbohydrate Solutions, and the ADM enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Spiral Filtration Sales, Customer & Market Development • Partner and mentor with our highly skilled and experienced Spiral sales and operations leadership team to minimize your learning curve and expedite your value creation • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline • Own and/or support revenue growth across assigned verticals and territories • Execute Spiral’s GTM segment strategies & priorities • Lead customer acquisition, qualification, scoping, and deal closure as their trusted partner in our targeted end markets • Identify new applications, market segments, and growth opportunities • Track market developments, competitive dynamics, and pricing signals to inform commercial positioning • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer sites • Manage forecasting, Salesforce discipline, and sales reporting with accuracy Cross‑Functional Collaboration and Technical Expertise Development • Mentor with our Spiral commercial and operations leadership to develop your technical sales expertise for spiral‑wound filtration, membrane systems, and related applications • Participate in customer technical discussions, innovation, applications evaluations, and solution design through collaborative partnership with ADM’s engineering, operations, R&D, procurement, and product teams • Translate customer requirements into clear, pragmatic solutions • Support pilot testing, validation, and system performance reviews • Provide voice‑of‑customer insights to guide product development and capacity planning
: Strategy & Business Development • Parter with businesses to develop, review, and/or refine and update their comprehensive strategies, including scenario and sensitivity development • Synthesize holistic industry & market research and intelligence into actionable insights for ADM businesses • Business development partner and hunter • Strategic thought partner and in-depth analysis, ultimately becoming a strategic thought leader • Collaborate directly with executive leadership in a high visibility, high accountability, and, at-times, a very fast-paced environment • Participate in broader strategic initiative engagement and support at an enterprise level • Function as an independent in-house consultant to support businesses, performance management, and comprehensive strategy advancement • Prepare executive-ready materials including briefings, presentations, and strategic analyses Qualifications Required • Proven track record of delivering exponential revenue growth • Prior experience in sales, commercial, strategy or business development, and/or marketing with a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes • An undeniable strategic mindset and intellectual curiosity with the ability to advance strategic actionable insights into, plans, and initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes • Ability to formulate and confidently articulate an independent perspective within a team of experts and leaders on a wide variety and constantly changing scope of businesses and strategic topics • Ability to learn and then lead technical conversations with customers and/or multifunctional stakeholders • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and forecasting discipline • Willingness to travel to customer sites, plants, and industry events • Relentless pursuit of high performance and a no-fail approach to delivering on responsibilities • Extremely strong communication capabilities; executive presence, influential, confident, effective communicators with ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively Preferred, but Not Required • Master’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, or engineering is a plus • Experience managing complex technical value sales cycles with multiple stakeholders • Familiarity with financial modeling, market sizing, or competitive analysis frameworks What Success Looks Like • Deliver measurable, profitable revenue growth aligned to our comprehensive strategic priorities • Become a trusted technical and commercial partner to key customers • Become a trusted thought leader and business partner with business leaders • Develop comprehensive, executable strategies with your business partners • Establish your leadership network and presence through consistent, trusted executive-level engagement, producing tangible impacts on strategic priorities and delivering high quality, decision-ready intelligence and materials • Deliver high value, active business development contributions that result in tangible outcomes, ranging from identification to execution of initiatives Before applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor. * If you’ve been in your current position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required. * If you’ve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required. : Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
