As a Custodial Host, you are instrumental in ensuring the cleanliness of all of our Guest and Crew areas. This includes the distribution of Guest luggage on embarkation and debarkation days. You will report to Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

Additional Information: This is a SHIPBOARD role You must:

• Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel

• Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan

• Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control

• If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations

Your Responsibilities:

• Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)

• Complete a pre-employment medical

• Obtain a criminal background check

• Bring approved work shoes

**Disney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace. All new hires are required to undergo drug/alcohol testing within the first week onboard and throughout their contracts. Failure to pass the drug/alcohol testing will result in immediate termination.

Basic Qualifications: • Previous professional cleaning experience of some level, including using chemicals and cleaning tools, within the last 3 years • Physical role which requires endurance to lift 50 lbs, bending, pushing, extensive walking, standing and stretching • Interpersonal Skills with guests and peers/partnership/interactions • Ability to provide personalized Guest Service Including interacting with small children and attend to the needs of each guest

Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge in floor care a plus • Previous experience working in a high Guest service focused company preferred

Responsibilities: • Clean and sanitize Guest and Crew areas including but not limited to; venues, restrooms, landings, offices, hallways, staircases, Crew/Officer cabins and more • Assist in the luggage operations during embark and debark process to handle and distribute Guest luggage. • Open to flexible scheduling for crew cabin cleaner, day or night shift, and to cover stateroom sections • Work with various solutions, cleaners, and disinfectants as per MSDS • Upkeep the Cleanliness in the assigned areas by vacuuming, dusting, wiping, polishing, refilling and disinfecting • Report any maintenance issues and following up to ensure completion • Ensure all areas are SHOW READY by picking up and removing all items • Perform responsibilities on our Private Island on a rotation basis • Interaction with Guests to provide them with directions and general information
