Job Description: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement toperform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility100% of the time.

Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. Self-starter who supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and Operations' commitments on engineering and production programs.

Responsibilities include: • Maintains job progress and status records and notifies supervisor and/or customers of impending delays or serious difficulties affecting commitments. • Prepares special reports on orders and status as required. • Anticipates or responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged or defective material in order to prevent work stoppages in area of responsibility. • Maintains accurate records by updating applicable systems which provide regular reports on the status of product to the Supply Chain Planner. • Ensures that engineering change orders affecting parts and material are incorporated into products by effective date. • Oversees and trains more junior personnel as required. • May be tasked to lead small to medium volume production lines as needed. • Proficient in all applications of Oracle, DSS, Solumina, Paperless, PLM and TIPQA to accomplish daily tasks. • Actively participates in cycle count activities in the factory. • Actively participates in the establishment of Point of Use Material in the factory. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. • Leads Root Cause Corrective Action with all functions to prevent part shortages from recurring. • Has the ability to set up the material presentation process from scratch with minimal guidance using lean principles.

Required Skills and Education: • High School Diploma and 2 year work experience or equivalent experience • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.). • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Skills and Education: • Experience with MRP systems • Understanding of manufacturing processes • Forward thinking and has experience with process improvement guidance
