Working directly with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll identify issues, drive structured problem resolution, and deliver measurable improvements that enhance customer experience and business performance.</p> <p>Your work will directly contribute to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Improving product quality and reducing customer‑impacting issues</p> </li> <li> <p>Driving supplier accountability and performance</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensuring compliant, reliable products reach the UK market</p> </li> <li> <p>Supporting improvements across repair, refurbishment and returns</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you’ll be doing</b></H2> </div><div><p>As a key partner to our suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will:</p> <h3>Supplier Performance &amp; Quality</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Manage in‑life supplier performance for assigned suppliers</p> </li> <li> <p>Review supplier quality scorecards and identify performance gaps</p> </li> <li> <p>Agree, track and drive improvement actions</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Structured Problem Solving</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Lead 8D problem‑solving activities</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify and validate root causes</p> </li> <li> <p>Implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Product Quality Improvement</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Work directly with suppliers to reduce defects and recurring failure modes</p> </li> <li> <p>Address reliability issues and customer‑impacting problems</p> </li> </ul> <h3>New Product Introduction (NPI)</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Support supplier readiness checks</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to quality planning and risk identification</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Supplier Site Visits &amp; Audits</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct on‑site assessments to identify issues and promote good manufacturing principles</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive corrective actions and follow‑up improvements</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Returns, Repair &amp; Refurbishment</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Analyse defect trends</p> </li> <li> <p>Support supplier corrective actions to improve performance</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Product Quality &amp; Compliance</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Carry out basic environmental and product compliance checks</p> </li> <li> <p>Support technical investigations where required</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Engagement</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers</p> </li> <li> <p>Support ongoing improvement and effective issue resolution</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Required Skills / Experience</b></H2> </div><div><h3>Essential</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to travel internationally (including Asia) ~20–40 days per year</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to travel within the UK for supplier visits, audits and stakeholder engagement</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working with consumer electronics, telecoms devices or similar product environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience managing suppliers in‑life, including performance monitoring and issue resolution</p> </li> <li> <p>Practical experience in root cause analysis, structured problem solving (e.g. 8D), and managing product/manufacturing quality issues</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to use data to identify quality issues, monitor performance and drive improvements</p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of manufacturing processes (plastics, PCB assembly, final assembly) and their impact on product quality and reliability</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Desirable</h3> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in repair, refurbishment or returns environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Awareness of product compliance requirements (RoHS, REACH, CE)</p> </li> <li> <p>Exposure to NPI or product launch activities</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, Six Sigma or similar</p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Our Package</b></H2> </div><div><p>Tailored benefits make a real difference.
