What you’ll be doing As a Planner, you will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Acting as a key link between departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to support smooth operational performance every day. Role Accountabilities • Plan and prioritise production to maximise efficiency while meeting customer service targets • Manage stock levels across finished goods, WIP and offsite inventory accurately and proactively • Monitor factory performance daily, ensuring strong operational flow and timely delivery • Forecast production needs to support material availability and labour planning • Track, analyse and improve KPIs to support continuous operational excellence • Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders • Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency and optimise planning processes What we’re looking for • Experience in a planning role within a fast‑paced or FMCG environment • Strong numerical ability with confidence analysing data and making informed decisions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supporting effective cross‑functional working • Proficient IT user, particularly skilled in Excel, with willingness to enhance technical capability further • Proactive problem solver, able to take initiative and resolve challenges quickly • Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage changing priorities effectively • Strong collaborator who builds trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders • Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across planning, forecasting and reporting • Positive and resilient approach, supporting smooth daily operations and service improvement We’re proud to be recognised in the Gender Equity Measure Top 100 for our commitment to gender equality.
