<p>Tier-2 System Engineer (Windows Server Focus)</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>Provide professional system operation and maintenance support services for Enterprise Managed Service clients.</p> <ol start="1"> <li> <p>Responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems (including Failover Clusters) to ensure stable server environment operations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 (M365) enterprise suite, including user accounts, license assignment, and service configuration.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory (AD) domain services, including core services such as Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiar with the configuration, monitoring, backup, and performance optimization of Exchange mail systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in using tools such as Veeam and NetBackup (NBU) for data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery drills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Use monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Zabbix for real-time monitoring and alert handling of system performance, capacity, and availability.</p> </li> <li> <p>Skilled in VMware vSphere or Hyper-V virtualization platforms, including virtual machine deployment, resource scheduling, and failover management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform system patch management, software distribution, and configuration compliance checks using tools such as BigFix, SCCM, and Group Policy.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with the security team to perform vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation using tools such as Qualys and Cortex.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare operational documentation, technical reports, and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and standardization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in using automation tools such as PowerShell, Bat, and Shell scripting.</p> </li> </ol> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications</strong></p> <ol start="1"> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in Windows Server system operations and maintenance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022).</p> </li> <li> <p>In-depth understanding of the management and configuration of Microsoft 365 (M365) enterprise suite, with familiarity in Azure AD and hybrid identity authentication.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of core Active Directory components including Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining Exchange Server (2016/2019 or Exchange Online), with familiarity in mail flow, security policies, and high availability configurations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiar with the use and management of enterprise-level backup tools such as Veeam Backup & Replication or Veritas NetBackup.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Zabbix for system performance monitoring, log analysis, and alert management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience operating and maintaining virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, with familiarity in cluster management, storage configuration, and resource optimization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiar with endpoint management tools such as BigFix and SCCM, with the ability to independently handle patch distribution, software deployment, and asset inventory.</p> </li> <li> <p>Basic understanding of security tools such as Qualys and Cortex, with foundational capabilities in vulnerability scanning and risk assessment.<br>Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to a 7×24 on-call NOC culture.<br>Basic conversational Cantonese and good written communication skills in English.</p> </li> </ol> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ol start="1"> <li> <p>Possession of relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE: Core Infrastructure.</p> </li> <li> <p>Possession of virtualization or backup-related certifications such as VMware VCP or Veeam VMCE.</p> </li> <li> <p>Script development skills (PowerShell/Python) with the ability to improve operational efficiency through automation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in large-scale enterprise IT infrastructure planning, migration, or upgrade projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with ITIL operational processes, with strong documentation and teamwork skills.</p> </li> </ol>
