The role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, delivery ownership, and stakeholder management, working across large scale global transformation initiatives. Role & Client Responsibilities <ul> <li>Lead end to end SAP data migration workstreams using SAP BODS</li> <li>Own solution design for complex migration scenarios (ECC → S/4HANA, cloud, carve outs)</li> <li>Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers on data migration</li> <li>Drive migration strategy, approach, sequencing, and cutover planning</li> <li>Collaborate with functional leads, architects, and cross track teams</li> <li>Interface with onsite leads, program managers, and global delivery teams</li> </ul> Review and approve: <ul> <li>Migration design documents</li> <li>BODS architecture and job designs</li> <li>Data validation and reconciliation strategies</li> <li>Proactively identify migration risks and define mitigation plans</li> <li>Support presales activities including:</li> <li>Solutioning</li> <li>Effort estimation</li> <li>Technical inputs for proposals</li> </ul> People & Delivery Responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage and mentor BODS developers (junior to senior levels)</li> <li>Assign and monitor work, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines</li> <li>Establish and enforce development standards and best practices</li> <li>Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs</li> <li>Build a strong quality driven and ownership focused delivery culture</li> <li>Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations</li> <li>Drive internal capability building, accelerators, and reusable assets</li> </ul> Technical Skills & Experience <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in SAP data migration with strong BODS focus</li> <li>Proven track record of leading multiple end to end migration cycles</li> </ul> Expert level knowledge of: <ul> <li>SAP BODS architecture, design, and performance optimization</li> <li>Jobs, dataflows, workflows, transformations, and error handling</li> </ul> Strong hands on experience with: <ul> <li>ECC to S/4HANA data migration</li> <li>SAP source and target systems</li> </ul> Hands on exposure to: <ul> <li>S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC / Fiori Migration Object Modeler)</li> <li>IDOC / BAPI based integrations using BODS</li> <li>Advanced SQL skills for complex data analysis and issue resolution</li> <li>Functional understanding of SAP process areas like Finance, Sales and Distribution, Material Management etc</li> </ul> Experience in: <ul> <li>BODS installation, configuration, scheduling, and Management Console</li> <li>Migration mock cycles, dress rehearsals, and cutover execution</li> </ul> Ability to produce: <ul> <li>Migration strategies</li> <li>Technical architectures</li> <li>Detailed effort estimates and plans</li> <li>Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices</li> </ul> What We Look For <ul> <li>Strong technical leadership with hands on credibility</li> <li>Proven ability to manage complex, high volume data migrations</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li> </ul> What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
