Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Infra Migration Engineer – Senior Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Hybrid Cloud Infra Migration Engineer with up to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, data center migration, and hybrid infrastructure delivery. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with cloud services, migration tooling, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid connectivity. This role supports assessments, migration wave execution, cloud build activities, and hybrid platform rollouts. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support infrastructure workload migration across On-premises to cloud or cloud to cloud</li> <li>Support design and implementation of hybrid cloud environments across Azure/AWS/GCP.</li> <li>Execute discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, and migration preparation activities.</li> <li>Support migration waves for virtual machines, databases, middleware, and application platforms.</li> <li>Build cloud landing zones, resource groups, networks, storage accounts, and operational tooling.</li> <li>Assist in creating LLDs, topology diagrams, build documents, and migration runbooks.</li> <li>Implement IaC using Terraform or ARM/Bicep, and maintain automation scripts for deployment.</li> <li>Configure VPN/ExpressRoute/VPC connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and IAM controls.</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, networking, backup, and cloud service integrations.</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams (network, security, operations, app owners) to ensure smooth transitions.</li> <li>Support modernization efforts including containerization, OS upgrades, and platform uplift.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>Up to 8 years in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, and DC/cloud migration.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP services, VMware, Windows/Linux servers.</li> <li>Familiar with migration tools (Azure Migrate, HCX, CloudEndure, Migration Factory workflows).</li> <li>Knowledge of IaC (Terraform/ARM/Bicep), scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash), and automation practices.</li> <li>Understanding of hybrid connectivity, routing, load balancing, and security constructs.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field; cloud certifications are desirable.</li> </ul> Preferred Skills: <ul> <li>Experience with backup, DR, monitoring, tagging, policy enforcement, and cost optimization.</li> <li>Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native modernization patterns.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in fast-paced migration environments and collaborate across technical teams.</li> </ul> EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
